Flexible Mortgage Programs

NHS Phoenix has special first and second mortgage programs available for qualified borrowers. These programs make it easier to qualify for a mortgage by offering lower interest rates, lower down payment requirements, no mortgage insurance premium and more flexible qualifying requirements.

Down Payment/Closing Cost Assistance

NHS Phoenix has a variety of loan and grant funds to assist qualified buyers who have not yet saved enough for down payment or closing costs. Eligibility requirements can vary depending on the borrower's income level, geographic location of the home to be purchased, or the first mortgage lender.

Thanks to a grant partnership with the Navajo Housing Authority, NHS Phoenix can now provide up to $10,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance to enrolled Navajo tribal members earning 80% or less of area median income to purchase a home in Maricopa County.

Homebuyer Education is required through NHS Phoenix.
