About NHSP

Nine easy ways to support homeownership and the revitalization of our (your) neighborhoods:

1. Cash donations

are always graciously accepted. You can donate on-line through PayPal:

Or print and fill out the attached form and mail with your check. Either way, your tax-deductible contribution will help provide a full range of homeownership services to families of modest means.

2. Sign up for eScrip.

Participating merchants--Safeway, Macy's, VISA, AmericanExpress, and Eddie Bauer--will contribute a percentage of your grocery, credit card and ATM purchases to NHS Phoenix. Your support can add up quickly depending on your shopping habits. It's easy and safe. Visit www.escrip.com or call 800.559.8917 to register your cards. Thank you for selecting Neighborhood Housing Services of Phoenix (Group ID 1103914) to receive your rewards.

3. Use your Bashas' Thank You Card to support NHS Phoenix.

Bashas' will donate one percent of your total purchases for the year to the charity of your choice. The next time you are shopping, ask your cashier to link your Thank You Card to NHS Phoenix (group ID 24439.)

4. Tax credits help the working poor.

A $200 donation ($400 if married and filing jointly) to NHS Phoenix can get you a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your Arizona income tax return. The credit will come off the top of your state tax bill, lowering the amount you will pay, as opposed to a deduction which only helps determine your final tax liability. For more detailed information, visit the Arizona Department of Revenue at www.revenue.state.az.us or call 602.255.3381. (NHS Phoenix recommends that you contact a qualified tax advisor for expert advice on your specific tax situation.)

5. Use www.goodsearch.com

to search the internet and contribute to NHS Phoenix at the same time! The first time your visit, type NHS Phoenix in the I'm Supporting box and click the Verify button. Each search generates support for NHS Phoenix. Happy surfing!
